Sweet foster puppy Una meets the ocean for the first time, gets startled by the tiny waves before finding the courage to give them another chance: ‘It's not gonna hurt you’

One tiny wave at a time, Una discovers the ocean isn't so scary after all.

On his TikTok account, @_withcoop shared one of the cutest videos with the puppy he's fostering, named Una. After receiving her at home, he decided to give her one of the best days ever: a beach day. We know that some dogs go crazy when they are on the beach, while others are more scared of the water and need some support and encouragement. Because it was Una's first time, he was skeptical about how she would react. But things went better than expected.

Evan, his dog, and Una arrived at the beach, and from that moment she felt scared. To begin with, Evan's dog jumped out of the car and ran away to the beach, but she was hesitant to jump and needed Evan's help. After getting out, she ran with them to the beach, and then she met the big ocean. She was startled and not sure what to do with it. Evan's dog loves the water and was showing her it was okay to get in and get wet… nothing wrong was going to happen to her. She was safe and being taken care of.

She understood this and tried to get in, but as soon as the tiny waves were about to touch her, she backed off… Evan was right next to her, telling her that nothing was going to happen to her, nothing was going to hurt her. And slowly but surely, she started to get her paws in the water, and then… she was all in. Una not only played with the water, but she also loved the sand and dug some tiny little holes next to her foster brother… she copied everything he did, and had the best time ever. After that long and happy day, she fell right asleep when they got back in the car.

This video is a huge lesson for us, because it is so simple: how can we make an animal happy?. In this case, this little puppy was gifted probably one of the best days of her life, and for sure, her little heart was full.
